AWAKEN is about that moment when something shifts inside you and you begin to see yourself, and the world around you, differently.

The artwork explores renewal, transformation and the feeling of stepping into something new. Deep black and metallic greys create a sense of depth, while a subtle touch of aubergine brings warmth and emotion beneath the darker tones.

I was drawn to the idea of awakening as a gradual process. Not one dramatic moment, but a quiet realisation — becoming more aware of what you want, what matters to you and where you are ready to go next.

The darker palette gives the work a certain intensity, but there is light within it too. It feels like something emerging.

As with much of my work, the piece developed intuitively through layers, marks and colour. I wanted to leave traces of that process visible rather than make everything feel perfectly resolved.

For me, artwork is at its most powerful when it carries something beyond the visual. AWAKEN is a reminder that change can be exciting, that new beginnings don't always need to be loud, and that there is something powerful about becoming more fully yourself.

At A2 size, AWAKEN has a strong, sophisticated presence and works particularly well within contemporary, architectural and design-led interiors. It can stand alone as a focal point or sit beautifully within a more collected arrangement.

AWAKEN is produced as a limited edition of 40, with each print signed and numbered by me.

As each print is produced to order, please allow 7–10 working days for your artwork to be produced, signed, carefully prepared and dispatched.

Your print is rolled in acid-free tissue paper and sent in a protective cardboard tube to help ensure it reaches you safely.

On arrival, gently unroll and lay flat for approximately 24 hours before framing.
