EBONY — Silk Scarf

EBONY is an exploration of contrast — the meeting of black and white with unexpected flashes of colour.

Created from an original SO KLARA artwork, the design began with the simplicity and strength of monochrome. Against the bold black and white composition, small bursts of red, green, yellow and blue appear almost like moments of surprise.

I love the tension between restraint and expression in this piece. At first, EBONY feels graphic and sophisticated; look closer and the colour begins to reveal itself.

For me, it is a reminder that a little colour can change everything.
