RIVIERA — Silk Scarf

Inspired by the light, colour and effortless energy of the French Riviera, RIVIERA began as an original SO KLARA artwork and was transformed into a piece of wearable art.

I wanted to capture the feeling of Mediterranean summer — vivid blue water, flashes of green, intense sunlight and that sense of freedom that comes with being somewhere warm and beautiful.

The abstract composition brings together rich blues and greens with contrasting touches of colour, creating a design that feels vibrant, fluid and full of movement. I love that the artwork changes when it is worn; fold it, drape it or knot it and different colours and details emerge.

For me, a scarf can be more than an accessory. It can be something you connect with — a little piece of colour, art and personality that becomes part of your everyday life.

RIVIERA is digitally printed in Britain onto 100% silk crepe de chine, giving the artwork a beautiful depth of colour while retaining the soft, fluid drape and refined matte texture of the silk. Each scarf is finished with a traditional hand-rolled hem.
