ESPAGNA — Silk Scarf

Inspired by the heat, colour and vibrant energy of the Mediterranean, ESPAGNA began as an original SO KLARA artwork and was transformed into a piece of wearable art.

I wanted to capture the feeling of warm Mediterranean days — intense blue skies, sun-drenched colour, vivid green and the deeper tones that appear as the light begins to change.

Azure blue, sunset orange, lime green and deep aubergine come together in an expressive abstract composition full of movement and warmth. I love the way these colours interact, creating something joyful and energetic while still leaving space for the wearer to make it their own.

A scarf can be a wonderful way of carrying colour with you. It can transform an outfit, lift your mood and become something you reach for simply because it makes you feel good.

ESPAGNA is digitally printed in Britain onto 100% silk crepe de chine, giving the original artwork beautiful colour intensity while retaining the soft, fluid drape and refined matte texture of the silk. Each scarf is finished with a traditional hand-rolled hem.
