DAYA — Original Abstract Collage

DAYA is an abstract collage about harmony — finding a sense of balance while still allowing space for spontaneity and discovery.

I love the moment in the collage process when separate pieces begin to work together and the composition suddenly feels right. DAYA developed through this intuitive process of layering, moving and responding to shapes, textures and marks until everything began to find its place.

There is a quietness to the piece, but it isn't static. Subtle textures and expressive details create movement beneath the surface, while the overall composition retains a feeling of balance and calm.

For me, DAYA is about finding beauty in the spaces between things — knowing when to add something, when to take something away and when to simply let the composition breathe.

I created this piece for those who appreciate original art that feels considered but still retains the human touch. It is a work that can quietly transform a space, bringing texture, character and a sense of calm without demanding attention.
