VIRTA — Original Abstract Collage

VIRTA is an abstract collage inspired by movement, freedom and the feeling of allowing things to unfold naturally.

I’m drawn to the energy that can emerge when different shapes, textures and colours meet. With collage, I never quite know where a piece will end up. I move elements around, layer them, take them away and put them back again until the composition begins to feel right.

VIRTA developed from that intuitive process. Layered textures and expressive forms create a sense of movement across the surface, while quieter areas bring balance and space.

For me, the work is about finding a rhythm between control and spontaneity — knowing when to make a decision and when to step back and allow the artwork to breathe.

I love the tactile quality of collage and the way small details reveal themselves gradually. It is the kind of piece that can become part of a space rather than simply sit within it.
