METEORA — Colour Accent Cushion

METEORA is inspired by the mystery of the night sky and that feeling of looking upwards and suddenly feeling connected to something much bigger than yourself.

The artwork brings together shooting stars, orbiting forms and deep-space textures in a vibrant composition of pink, orange, indigo and violet.

I wanted the colours to feel almost otherworldly — bright bursts of light moving through deeper tones, creating a sense of movement, energy and possibility.

There is something I find deeply comforting about looking at the night sky. It puts things into perspective, but it can also make us feel full of wonder. METEORA grew from that feeling.

I love seeing artwork move into the objects we live with. A cushion may be a small part of a room, but the right piece can completely change its atmosphere — adding colour, softness and a little moment of imagination.

At 50 × 50 cm, METEORA works beautifully on a sofa, armchair or bed, either on its own or layered with other SO KLARA pieces.

Made in Britain from premium linen, it is printed on both sides and finished with piped edges and a concealed zip.
