MONURIKI — Colour Accent Cushion

MONURIKI is inspired by the colour, warmth and sense of freedom of the Fiji Islands.

I wanted to capture that feeling of arriving somewhere surrounded by white sand, turquoise water and lush green landscapes — the kind of place where the colours seem brighter and life feels a little lighter.

The artwork brings together flowing blues, greens, sunshine yellow and coral red, creating a vibrant composition full of movement and warmth. Rather than depicting the landscape literally, I wanted to capture its atmosphere — the energy of the ocean, tropical sunlight and the feeling of being completely immersed in nature.

Colour has always been central to my work, and MONURIKI is very much about the joy that colour can bring into our everyday surroundings.

At 50 × 50 cm, it is an easy way to introduce a strong dose of personality to a sofa, bed or favourite chair. Style it on its own or layer it with other SO KLARA cushions to create a more expressive, colourful interior.

Made in Britain from premium linen, the cushion is printed on both sides and finished with piped edges and a concealed zip.

For me, MONURIKI is about sunshine, adventure and the freedom to surround yourself with colour.
