THE DAY I MET YOU Giclee Art Print
THE DAY I MET YOU — Giclée Art Print
THE DAY I MET YOU is about that exhilarating moment when someone enters your life and suddenly everything feels brighter.
The artwork celebrates connection, attraction and the kind of joy that can arrive unexpectedly. A luminous yellow sits at the heart of the composition, surrounded by expressive flashes of green, violet, cyan and magenta — colours that feel almost like an emotional rush.
I wanted the piece to capture the energy of a new connection: that feeling of excitement, possibility and seeing the world slightly differently because someone has crossed your path.
There is something wonderfully optimistic about that moment. You don't know where it will lead, but for a while, you simply enjoy the feeling of it.
As with much of my work, I let the painting develop intuitively. Colour, gesture and movement build layer upon layer until the composition begins to find its own rhythm.
For me, THE DAY I MET YOU is ultimately about joy — the people, encounters and unexpected moments that make life feel bigger and more colourful.
At A2 size, it has a strong presence within an interior and works beautifully as a focal point in a living space, bedroom, creative environment or design-led scheme.
THE DAY I MET YOU is produced as a limited edition of 40, with each print signed and numbered by me.
Each print is produced to order in Britain, then signed and numbered by me. High-quality Giclée printing on 285gsm archival art paper faithfully reproduces the colour, detail and character of the original artwork.
