TROPICANA — Large Floor Cushion

Tropicana is about escaping into colour — a celebration of lush botanical forms, warmth and the feeling of being somewhere far away.

I wanted this design to bring the energy of tropical landscapes indoors: rich natural shapes, vibrant colour and the sense of abundance you feel when surrounded by dense, flourishing nature.

The composition layers expressive botanical forms and colour to create something that feels joyful, immersive and full of life. Rather than recreating nature literally, I wanted to capture the feeling of it — that sense of being surrounded by colour, movement and growth.

At 90 × 90 cm, TROPICANA has a generous, relaxed presence. It can become a comfortable place to sit, lean against or curl up on, while bringing an immediate sense of personality to a room.

I love taking my artwork beyond the wall and into the objects we live with. Textiles make art tactile and lived-in — something you can see, touch and become part of your everyday surroundings.

Made in Britain from premium linen, TROPICANA is printed on both sides and finished with piped edges and a concealed zip.

For me, this cushion is about colour, escapism and the simple pleasure of creating a space that makes you feel good.
